Activity #21



Objective:

- To allow groups of students get some basic experience producing an edited video production

 
Procedure:

Allow students in their small groups to use a digital video camera for filming a school sports event or extra-curricular activity (on-going during I-Search project weeks).

In groups, under teacher direction, load the video clips into I-Movie on the Mac computers, and edit the movie.  Export to VHS video tape.

 Materials:

 - Digital video camera with firewire output

- Imac computer with I-Movie software

- VHS VCR recorder, tapes
 
Ongoing Assessment:

- Anecdotal; participation and group cooperation
