-  Appreciation of a true observatory situation, and a brief introduction to astronomy as an educational and career field.

Class trip to Saint Mary's University in Halifax, for a slide show, tour of the observatory and a brief explanation of the Astronomy Department at Saint Mary's and its programs.

Should ideally be scheduled into the evening, with overnight accomodation depending on the school distance.
